Using slice sets (ImageReady)

In ImageReady, you can combine slices into sets, and toggle the visibility of those sets. This lets you create different configurations for your Web page, which is especially powerful when you combine this feature with layer comps. You can create unique slice sets to match your various layer comps. See Working with layer comps.

Note: You can only place a slice in one slice set at a time.

You work with slice sets in the Web Content palette.

To create a slice set:

  1. Select one or more slices.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Choose Slices > New Slice Set.
    • Click the New Slice Set button in the Web Content palette.

  1. In the Web Content palette, select the slice set you want to delete.
  2. Note: If the slice set is not visible in the palette, expand the Slices section of the palette by clicking the arrow next to the Slices section header.

  3. Click the Delete Slice button Trash button to remove the slice set.
  4. Choose one of the following:
    • Set Only deletes just the set itself.
    • Set and Contents deletes the set and all its slices.
